After graduating from college at Oregon Tech in 2008 and before starting my first career job, I made it up to Vancouver and Victoria, BC, Canada for two weeks. British Columbia is a beautiful region of Canada. Victoria was a lovely island and a great place to bicycle. I arrived by ferry from Vancouver with my bike. After spending a few days I spent some time around Vancouver with some river rafting on my way back to the states. I need more time here.
Jason has been writing his adventures for a number of years now. This his stab at travel blogging. He's the main contributor for Jason Gets Around since it's him actually going places. He is a traveler, an adventurer, storyteller, kickball player, a pool shark, a software engineer, and now most recently, a licensed pilot.
I wanted to give a follow-up to the Making Travel Plans in 2020 post I made in September. Specifically, our trip to Whitefish, Montana by Rail and give some more info while I’m at it.
With the way 2020 has gone so far, making travel plans in 2020 seems like it may lead to more disappointment as many plans will likely fall through, however, I’m happy to be making new Read more…
