First Country Visiting El Salvador

Published by Jason on

First country I ever visited outside of the USA.  Came here when I was 16 on a missions trip for two weeks.  I spent most of my time face painted as a clown.  Drank out of plastic bags and ate a number of ham and cheese sandwiches.  Took baths using buckets of water and worked with orphans and performed theater for families.  Many mudslides in the area with tons of traffic.  Saw four lanes of traffic with markets on both sides of the road in the busier parts.  Right of way determined by whoever honks first.  Quite the experience and definitely made me want to see more of this crazy world.
