  - IcelandThis country is breathtakingly beautiful. I drove around the entire country from Reykjavik, around the Golden Circle, and continuing onto the Ring Road. My favorite sections were the South West, the South and the East. 1600+ miles of driving, 100+ miles of hiking, dozens of waterfalls, many hot springs, and very friendly people. Everything is pretty expensive there, but other than that, it is by far one of my favorites.

      - SayulitaThe last time I went to Sayulita was during a five-day trip at the end of January 2020 for my girlfriend’s 29th birthday surprise. It was epic for the short time we were there. It is definitely a town that I could get behind as it is very festive. The next time I have planned to go to Sayulita is early January of 2021 for an entire month. Funny enough, the last time I was in a commercial airport was that trip I mentioned above. I’ve never gone an entire year only stepping into a commercial airport once. Oh, PDX airport, and flying around in general, how I miss thee!!

I came here for the TBEX conference and was surprised with how wonderful this little town is in the Finger Lakes area – a much-desired change to the “Big City.”.

  - ChileMy time in Chile was spent enjoying walking around Santiago, enjoying the beaches/nightlife/new years in Valparaiso, to getting as far south as I’ve ever been to enjoy the gorgeous views of Patagonia. Enjoyed a four day backpacking trip around the W of Torres Del Paine. Very friendly locals, good exchange rate from the US, and delicious wine and coffee everywhere I went. My first experience of South America and I was blown away by how great it was. Would go back again in a heart beat.

$99 Fares to Iceland!

Ever wanted to go to Iceland? Got a couple hundred bucks? Live in or could you easily get to Boston or Baltimore? Then go!

The Iceland based airline WOW Air just announced $99 one-fares from the US to Reykjavik, Iceland! These fares are available for flights October 5 through December 14, 2015 and January 11, through March 14, 2016. These incredibly low fares most likely won’t last so if Iceland has been on your radar I highly suggest looking into it. The US hubs include Boston and Baltimore and unfortunately you aren’t able to get connecting flights to other US cities. But if you can drive or find a cheap flight to one of these two airports, then it could definitely be worth it!
